Cancer Screening

Screening is finding an unrecognized disease in a person who does not have any symptoms and appears to be healthy like any other individual.

Screening is done by single or series of investigations combined with physical examination by a physician. Most of the screening tests are performed with minimum discomfort to the individual.

Some of the common cancers such as breast cancer and cervical cancer can be detected at early stages by screening. Early detection of cancer results in early intervention which improves the overall wellbeing of the patient.
