Hospital Statistics

The medical statistic unit of the National Cancer Institute maintains all the hospital statistics, indoor morbidity and mortality data as well as patient’s medical records.

The computerized patients’ information system has been used since 2006 and was designed for collection, retrieval, and analysis of data of patients registered at National Cancer Institute. The system can generate cancer statistics according to age, sex, topology, and morphology – as classified in the International Classification of Diseases (ICD) ninth revision.
